Dimitrios Mavroeidis
Dimitrios Mavroeidis (alternate spellings: ''Dimitris'', ''Mavroidis'') (Greek: Δημήτρης Μαυροειδής; born July 4, 1985) is a Greek professional basketball player and the team captain for AEK Athens of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. He is a 2.12 m (6 ft 11 in) tall center. Professional career Mavroeidis began his professional career with the Greek League club Peristeri in 2002. He moved to Panionios in 2005. He signed with Maroussi in 2007. In 2010, he joined the Spanish ACB League club Bilbao Basket. In 2012, he joined the EuroLeague club Olympiacos. With Olympiacos, he won the 2012–13 championship of the EuroLeague. He moved to Nea Kifissia in 2014. During the first round of the 2014–15 Greek Basket League, he was voted as the MVP of the week's first round of the Greek Basket League. 2017–18 Greek Basketball Cup
The 2017–18 Greek Basketball Cup was the 43rd edition of Greece's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The previous winners of the cup were Panathinaikos Superfoods. The cup competition started on 13 September 2017, and ended 17 February 2018. AEK won the competition. Format The top six placed teams from the top-tier level Greek Basket League 2016–17 season, gained an automatic bye to the 2017–18 Greek Cup quarterfinals. 2014–15 Greek Basket League
The 2014–15 Greek Basket League was the 75th season of the Greek Basket League, the highest tier professional basketball league in Greece. The season started on October 12, 2014 and ended June 14, 2015. Olympiacos won the title, after they beat Panathinaikos 3–0 in the Finals. Liga ACB
The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The competition was founded as the ACB Primera División on 1983 following the decision of clubs in the Liga Nacional, founded in 1957, to break away from the Spanish Basketball Federation and professionalize the league.
