Dimataling
Dimataling, officially the Municipality of Dimataling ( ceb, Lungsod sa Dimataling; Subanen: ''Benwa Dimataling''; Chavacano: ''Municipalidad de Dimataling''; tl, Bayan ng Dimataling), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 31,340 people. Dimataling was created in 1950 from the barrios of Dinas, Legarda, Mirapao, Migpulao, Kalipapa, Pisaan, Bubway, Tiniguangan, Tabina and Dimataling from Pagadian (not yet as a city at that time) and the barrios of Punta Flecha, Pitogo, Qugbay, Balong-balong, Libertad and Dumanguilas from Margosatubig. Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur
Margosatubig, officially the Municipality of Margosatubig ( ceb, Lungsod sa Margosatubig; Subanen: ''Benwa Margosatubig''; Chavacano: ''Municipalidad de Margosatubig''; tl, Bayan ng Margosatubig), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. Chavacano
Chavacano or Chabacano is a group of Spanish-based creole language varieties spoken in the Philippines. The variety spoken in Zamboanga City, located in the southern Philippine island group of Mindanao, has the highest concentration of speakers. Other currently existing varieties are found in Cavite City and Ternate, located in the Cavite province on the island of Luzon. Chavacano is the only Spanish-based creole in Asia. The different varieties of Chavacano differ in certain aspects like vocabulary but they are generally mutually intelligible by speakers of these varieties, especially between neighboring varieties. While a majority of the lexicon of the different Chavacano varieties derive from Spanish, their grammatical structures are generally similar to other Philippine languages. Subanon Language
The Subanen languages (also Subanon and Subanun) are a group of closely related Austronesian languages belonging to the Greater Central Philippine subgroup. Often described as a single language, they are considered by linguists as a dialect cluster more than a monolithic language. Subanen languages are spoken in various areas of Zamboanga Peninsula, namely the provinces of Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur, and in Misamis Occidental of Northern Mindanao.
