Didim
Didim is a small town, popular seaside holiday resort, and district of Aydın Province on the Aegean coast of western Turkey, from the provincial capital city of Aydın. Didim is the site of the antique city of Didyma with its ruined Temple of Apollo. Etymology Didim takes its name from ancient Didyma, situated close to the modern town. During the Ottoman Empire era, the town was known as ''Yoranda'' or ''Yoran'', and under the modern Republic of Turkey, it was originally named ''Hisar'' ("Castle"). Following its destruction in an earthquake in 1955, the town was rebuilt and renamed ''Yenihisar'' ("New Castle"). The town was part of Söke district until 1991. The area became a top-level district of Aydın Province and was given the ancient name ''Didim'' in 1997 to distinguish it from the many other places in Turkey named Yenihisar. Altınkum
Altınkum is a seaside resort in western Turkey, 123 km from Aydın. It is on the Aegean Sea, near the ancient Temple of Apollo and the ruins of the Ionian city of Didyma (Didim). Location Altinkum and Didim are located in Aydın Province between the city of İzmir and the resort Bodrum, about a 90-minute car ride either direction. The Greek holiday island Kos is an hour's boat ride away and Samos, Rhodes and Kusadasi are also in range. The region has developed from a string of small rural fishing villages into a tourist area. Aydın Province
Aydın Province ( tr, ) is a province of southwestern Turkey, located in the Aegean Region. The provincial capital is the city of Aydın which has a population of almost 200,000 (2012). Other towns in the province include the summer seaside resorts of Didim and Kuşadası. Geography Neighboring provinces are Manisa to the north east, İzmir to the north, Denizli to the east, Muğla to the south. Didyma
Didyma (; grc, Δίδυμα) was an ancient Greek sanctuary on the coast of Ionia in the domain of the famous city of Miletus. Apollo was the main deity of the sanctuary of Didyma, also called ''Didymaion''. But it was home to both of the temples dedicated to the twins Apollo and Artemis. Other deities were also honoured within the sanctuary. The Didymaion was well renowned in antiquity because of its famed oracle. This oracle of Apollo was situated within what was, and is, one of the world's greatest temples to Apollo. The remains of this Hellenistic temple belong to the best preserved temples of classical antiquity. Besides this temple other buildings existed within the sanctuary which have been rediscovered recently; a Greek theatre and the foundations of the above-mentioned Hellenistic temple of Artemis, to name but two. Söke
Söke is a town and the largest district of Aydın Province in the Aegean region of western Turkey, 54 km (34 miles) south-west of the city of Aydın, near the Aegean coast. It had 121.940 population in 2020. It neighbours are Germencik from north-east, Koçarlı from east, Milas from south-east, Didim from south-west, Aegean Sea from west and Kuşadası from northwest. Aegean Sea

Aydın
Aydın ( ''EYE-din''; ; formerly named ''Güzelhisar'', Ancient and Modern Greek: Τράλλεις /''Tralleis''/) is a city in and the seat of Aydın Province in Turkey's Aegean Region.
