Dera Bugti District
Dera Bugti ( Balochi and Urdu: ) is a district within the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It was established as a separate district in 1983. Administration The district is administratively subdivided into Four sub-divisions, these are: * Pirkoh * Dera Bugti * Phelawagh * Sui (Balochistan) Demography At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 313,110, of which 165,056 were males and 148,053 females. Rural population was 212,745 (67.95%) while the urban population was 100,365 (32.05%). The literacy rate was 26.55% - the male literacy rate was 41.52% while the female literacy rate was 9.35%. 82 people in the district were from religious minorities. At the time of te 2017 census, 96.04% of the population spoke Balochi, 1.14% Pashto and 1.07% Saraiki as their first language. Dilbar Mat
Dilbar Mat ( Balochi:دلبر مت) is town and union council of Dera Bugti District in the Balochistan province of Pakistan Pakistan ( ur, ), officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan ( ur, , label=none), is a country in South Asia. It is the world's List of countries and dependencies by population, fifth-most populous country, with a population of almost 24 .... It has an altitude of 250 metres (823 feet). The town is known for a military operation in 2016, where 19 civilians were kidnapped and 1 was killed. As per reports, an armed group of insurgents ambushed a post of peace force in Dilbar Mat of Gandoi, some 30 km west of Sui town and killed one tribesman and injured three others while kidnapped five militia men. Saraiki Language
Saraiki ( '; also spelt Siraiki, or Seraiki) is an Indo-Aryan language of the Lahnda group, spoken by 26 million people primarily in the south-western half of the province of Punjab in Pakistan. It was previously known as Multani, after its main dialect. Saraiki has partial mutual intelligibility with Standard Punjabi, and it shares with it a large portion of its vocabulary and morphology. At the same time in its phonology it is radically different (particularly in the lack of tones, the preservation of the voiced aspirates and the development of implosive consonants), and has important grammatical features in common with the Sindhi language spoken to the south. Sui (Balochistan)
Sui ( Balochi: سوئ), is a sub-district of Dera Bugti District in Balochistan, Pakistan. The Sui gas field is located near Sui town. Generally this is the area of Bugti's. Location The town of Sui is near the corner where the provinces of Baluchistan, Sindh and Punjab meet. It is about 9 km from Punjab, and 10 km from Sindh. The Indus River flows 25 km to the east of it. It is 40 km south of Dera Bugti. Sui has gas compression facilities from where natural gas is pipelined to nearby towns in Punjab and Sindh. It is also pipelined to Quetta, the largest city in Balochistan, about 200 miles away.
