Dedicato A Te
"Dedicato" is an Italian R&B ballad written by Ivano Fossati and performed by Loredana Bertè. It was the first Bertè's single entering the top ten on the Italian hit parade. Fossati recorded the song in his album ''La mia banda suona rock''. Bertè and Fossati recorded a Spanish version of the song titled "Dedicado". Bertè also recorded an English version of the song titled "Dedicating". The song was adapted in French with the title "Dédié à toi" and performed by Dalida. In 2013, a new version was included by Gianna Nannini in her cover album ''Hitalia''. Loredana Bertè (; born 20 September 1950) is an Italian singer and actress. In her long career she has worked with prominent Italian songwriters such as Pino Daniele, Ivano Fossati, Mario Lavezzi, Mango and Enrico Ruggeri, among others; her sister Mia Martini was also an acclaimed singer. She has experimented with different genres, from rock to reggae, from funk to pop. Bertè is known for the eccentric clothing she wears onstage for her performances. Compagnia Generale del Disco (CGD) was an Italian record label. History CGD was founded in 1948 by singer Teddy Reno. At that time it was established in Milan in Via Passarella 4. As artistic director Reno called fellow musician Lelio Luttazzi, who replaced David Matalon as Head of International Production in 1956. By collaborating with some publishers such as Suvini-Zerboni and Messaggerie Musicali, CGD was able to hire many artists who roused much success as Giorgio Consolini, Betty Curtis and Johnny Dorelli. Ivano Alberto Fossati (born 21 September 1951) is an Italian pop singer from Genoa. He was a member of the progressive rock group Delirium and has worked with Fabrizio De André, Riccardo Tesi, Anna Oxa, Mia Martini, Ornella Vanoni, Shirley Bassey, Francesco De Gregori, Menudo and Mina. In October 2011, after the release of the album ''Decadancing'', Fossati announced during Fabio Fazio's TV show ''Che tempo che fa'' that he decided to end his music career: "I've been thinking a lot about it, not in the last days, but during last two or three years. Bruno Mario Lavezzi (born 8 May 1948) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, record producer and guitarist. Life and career Born in Milan, he studied piano and guitar at the Scuola Civica di Milano. He started his career in 1963, as the singer and guitarist for the band The Trappers. In 1966, following the dissolution of the band, he replaced Riki Maiocchi in the I Camaleonti until 1968, when he had to leave the band after being drafted into the Italian army. Oscar Avogadro (9 August 1951 – 30 September 2010) was an Italian lyricist. Born in Turin, Avogadro debuted in the late 1960s as the vocalist of the short-lived vocal group . Daniele Pace (20 April 1935 – 24 October 1985) was an Italian composer, lyricist and singer-songwriter. Life and career Born in Milan, Pace started his career as lead vocalist of the group I Marcellini. After a brief solo career as a singer-songwriter, in the early 1960s he was enrolled by CGD as a composer and lyricist, often teaming with Mario Panzeri. The duo had several hits, and some of their songs were covered in other languages and became international successes. In 1971 he co-founded the comedy music group Squallor, and in 1979 he recorded a solo album, ''Vitamina C''.
