Day Of The Dead (2016 Album)
''Day of the Dead'' is the twenty-fifth compilation release benefiting the Red Hot Organization, an international charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for HIV and AIDS. Featuring fifty-nine exclusive recordings of Cover version, covers of Grateful Dead songs by a number of Independent record label, independent artists as a tribute to the band, the compilation was released on May 20, 2016 as five CDs, a limited edition vinyl LP box set, and as a Music download, digital download. John Carlin (businessman), John Carlin, the founder of the Red Hot Organization, was the executive producer for the album. The members of The National first performed with Bob Weir at his Bay Area studio in 2012 as part of the Headcount benefit The Bridge Session. Bruce Randall Hornsby (born November 23, 1954) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Josh Kaufman (musician)
Josh Kaufman (born May 26, 1978) is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, composer, arranger and engineer based in Brooklyn, New York. He is a member of the collaborative ensembles Muzz and Bonny Light Horseman. New York Kaufman began playing in high school garage bands in New York. Largely self-taught, he decided to take music theory lessons in his senior year at high school in preparation for studying music at Third Level. After graduating, Kaufman enrolled in the State University of New York (SUNY) in New Paltz, NY. Phosphorescent is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Matthew Houck. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Houck began recording and performing under this nickname in 2001 in Athens, Georgia.
