David Whitney
David Whitney (1939 – June 12, 2005) was an American art curator, collector, gallerist and critic. He led a very private life and was not well known outside the art world, even though he participated naked in the 1965 Claes Oldenburg happening ''Washes''. He was the life partner of architect Philip Johnson (1906–2005) for 45 years until their deaths five months apart. He was also a close friend of Andy Warhol. Early life and education Whitney, the son of a banker, was raised in Worcester, Massachusetts and attended the Loomis Institute and Woodstock Country School before studying architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BFA in Interior Architecture in 1963. Claes Oldenburg
Claes Oldenburg (January 28, 1929 – July 18, 2022) was a Swedish-born American sculptor, best known for his public art installations typically featuring large replicas of everyday objects. Another theme in his work is soft sculpture versions of everyday objects. Many of his works were made in collaboration with his wife, Coosje van Bruggen, who died in 2009; they had been married for 32 years. Oldenburg lived and worked in New York City. Lewis Stein (1945 – April 22, 2022) was an American visual artist living in New York City. Early life and education Stein was born in New York City in 1945. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, between 1964 and 1966, and the University of California at Berkeley between 1966 and 1968. He studied architecture at MIT and sculpture at the University of California at Berkeley. David Salle
David Salle (born September 28, 1952; last name pronounced "Sally") is a Pictures Generation American painter, printmaker, photographer, and stage designer. Salle was born in Norman, Oklahoma, and lives and works in East Hampton, New York. He earned a BFA and MFA from the California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, California, where he studied with John Baldessari. Eric Fischl (born March 9, 1948) is an American painter, sculptor, printmaker, draughtsman and educator. He is known for his paintings depicting American suburbia from the 1970s and 1980s. The Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board, Inc. was a private corporation that certified the authenticity of works by the artist, Andy Warhol, from 1995 to early 2012. History The organization was created in 1995 in association with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The Board, based in New York City, consisted of six members, including art historians, curators and those who personally knew Warhol and his work. They met three times a year to examine works and made determinations only of authenticity, not market value. Appraisals took one month and ''ARTnews'' reported that around 10 to 20% of submitted works were 'considered questionable.' The Board did not share its methodology, citing privacy concerns. Willem De Kooning

Franz Kline
Franz Kline (May 23, 1910 – May 13, 1962) was an American painter. He is associated with the Abstract Expressionist movement of the 1940s and 1950s. Edwin Parker "Cy" Twombly Jr. (; April 25, 1928July 5, 2011) was an American Painting, painter, Sculpture, sculptor and photographer.
