Dario Juričan
Dario Juričan (born 16 December 1976) is a Croatian film director, producer, and political activist. In 2019, he briefly changed his legal name to Milan Bandić. Although he has written, directed and produced several fictional short films, he is best known for his feature documentary films ''Gazda'' and ''Gazda: Početak'', which examine Croatian businessmen Ivica Todorić and Miroslav Kutle. Early life and education Juričan was born in Zagreb, Croatia, Yugoslavia, in 1976. He earned his bachelor's degree in comparative literature and German studies from the University of Zagreb. Afterwards, he also earned his degree in filmmaking from the London Film Academy. Film career Juričan has been working as an independent film director and producer since 2003. Zagreb ( , , , ) is the capital and largest city of Croatia. It is in the northwest of the country, along the Sava river, at the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain. Milan Bandić
Milan Bandić (22 November 1955 – 28 February 2021) was a Croatian politician and the longest-serving mayor of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Bandić was mayor almost continuously from 2000 to 2021, except during the time between his resignation in 2002 and the 2005 election. He was also suspended from exercising his powers and duties for several months after his 2014 arrest over a corruption scandal. Privatization in Croatia refers to political and economic reforms which include the privatization of state-owned assets in Croatia. Agrokor
Agrokor () was a conglomerate, largely centered in agribusiness, with headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia. Founded in 1976 as a flower grower, it became a joint stock company in 1989, with 100 percent ownership held by founder Ivica Todorić. It greatly expanded its operations in the following 25 years by acquiring a number of large companies in Croatia and Southeast Europe.
