Daring Club Leuven, was a Belgium, Belgian football club from the city of Leuven, Flemish Brabant that existed between 1922 and 2002, when it merged with K. Stade Leuven, Stade Leuven and F.C. Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverlee to form Oud-Heverlee Leuven. The club played its home matches in Kessel-Lo. History After being founded and joining the Royal Belgian Football Association, Belgian FA on 28 June 1922 to start with matricule n°223, the club played under several names in the first few seasons. Starting as Standard Club Sportif Louvaniste, then Football Club Leuven, before settling on Sporting Club Louvain, abbreviated as SC Louvain. Sporting Club Louvain was not the first club in Leuven, as both K. Stade Leuven, Stade Louvaniste (1903, matricule n°18) and Victoria FC Louvain (1922, matricule n°203) had already joined the Belgian FA at that point. Oud-Heverlee Leuven (), also called OH Leuven or OHL, is a Belgian football club from the city of Leuven. It was created in 2002 from the merger of three clubs, '' F.C. Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverlee'', whose registration number it inherited, ''Daring Club Leuven'', and '' Stade Leuven''. The club's home ground is Den Dreef, located in Heverlee. The club currently plays in the country's first level, Belgian First Division A. History F.C. Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverlee was founded in 1957, climbing out of the provincial leagues in 1996 and winning the Belgian Fourth Division title during the 1999–2000 season. Promoted to the Belgian Third Division they joined their Leuven neighbours Stade Leuven, founded in 1905, which had played over 30 seasons in the Belgian Second Division and one year in the First in the 1949–50 season. , F.C.
