Dan Russell (artist Manager)
Dan Russell is an artist, singer songwriter, artist advocate, producer and concert and event promoter. A graduate of Walpole High School in Massachusetts and later Barrington College, Russell is known for managing both the American rock band the Call and songwriter Michael Been and has worked in various capacities with such artists as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Sam Philips, Mark Heard, U2 and Brad Corrigan, Cheryl Kelley, Robin Lane, Ramona Silver, Vigilantes of Love, Rachael Taylor, among others. Russell is the president of New Sound Artist Management and NewSound International and the co-founder (along with the late Mark Heard and Chuck Long) of record label Fingerprint Records. In 1994 he received a Grammy nomination for producing Fingerprint's compilation album '' Strong Hand of Love: A Tribute to Mark Heard'', to which he also contributed the song, "I Just Wanna Get Warm." Walpole High School
Walpole High School (WHS) is a four-year public high school in Walpole, Massachusetts, United States, within Norfolk County. The school educates students grades 9 through 12 and is the only high school in the Walpole Public School district. As of 2013, the school has about 1,300 students and over 90 faculty and staff members. The campus is located one mile from downtown Walpole on Common Street. The school is mainly focused on college preparatory subjects, with over 90 percent of its graduates typically going on to higher education. It is accredited is by the New England Association of Secondary Schools. Fingerprint Records is an independent record label formed in 1990 by Mark Heard, Dan Russell, and Chuck Long. The label released Heard's albums and albums by The Call, Vigilantes of Love, Ramona Silver, bob., and two tribute albums to Heard after his death in 1992. Gunstock Mountain Resort, originally known as Belknap Mountain Recreation Area, is an outdoor recreation complex located on Gunstock Mountain in Gilford, New Hampshire. Soulfest
SoulFest is an annual Christian music festival held in New England, United States. It currently takes place at the Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, New Hampshire. Organizers have proposed moving the event to the D.L. Moody Center in Northfield, Massachusetts for 2023, pending approval from the Town of Northfield. The festival features three stages and over 80 artists and speakers. SoulFest 2022 was held from August 4-6 and SoulFest 2023 is scheduled for August 3-5. Stages Soulfest has two major stages in the actual festival area.
