DZEM (954 AM) INC Radio is a radio station owned and operated by Christian Era Broadcasting Service International, the religious broadcast arm of the Iglesia ni Cristo in the Philippines. The station's studio is located within the grounds of the Iglesia ni Cristo Central Office complex at No. 1, Central Avenue, Brgy. New Era, Quezon City, and its transmitter is located at Brgy. Paliwas, Obando, Bulacan. DZEM operates daily from 4:00 AM to 12:00 MN, and 24 hours during an International Evangelical Mission. History DZEM began its broadcast on February 10, 1969, on 1520 kHz with a power of 10,000 watts. Known for its religious and secular programs, since the late 1970s, it has received various commendations, plaques, and honors from the broadcast industry like the Broadcast Media Council (BMC), now the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP); and from the different private and government agencies. DZCE-TV is the flagship non-commercial station of the Philippine television network INC TV (merger of GEM TV and INC Channel on SkyCable and stylized as INCTV). INCTV is the flagship UHF television station of Christian Era Broadcasting Service International, a broadcast ministry of the independent Philippine Christian church, the Iglesia ni Cristo. INC TV studios and transmitters are located at Milton Hills Subdivision, Brgy. New Era, Quezon City. History The channel was first launched in 2000 as a cable-only television station under the longer name ''Iglesia ni Cristo Television'', carrying the Church's long line of evangelical television programs that had begun in mid-1983 on the People's Television Network and Radio Philippines Network and later on other TV networks in the country.
