DLSU Lady Booters
The De La Salle Lady Booters are the varsity women's football team of the De La Salle University. They compete at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), as well as at the PFF Women's League, the top flight domestic women's football league in the Philippines. PFF Women's League The collegiate squad was among the pioneer teams of the first season of the PFF Women's League which ran from 2016 to 2017. De La Salle was assured of the league title of the 2016-17 season after their first second round match against OutKast which ended in a 3–0 win. They were undefeated in that season garnering 13 wins or 39 points. De La Salle University ( fil, Pamantasang De La Salle or Unibersidad ng De La Salle), also referred to as DLSU, De La Salle or La Salle, is a private university, private, Catholic Church, Catholic coeducational research university run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Taft Avenue, Malate, Manila, Philippines. UAAP Season 62
UAAP Season 62 is the 1999–2000 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines which was hosted by the University of the Philippines. The season opened on July 10, 1999, at the PhilSports Arena. It was the last broadcast by Silverstar Sports aired on PTV. Jimmy Javier, Joaqui Trillo and Jude Turcuato were on hand for the last broadcast of the UAAP games. De La Salle Green Archers
The De La Salle Green Archers (also known simply as the Green Archers) are the men's varsity teams representing De La Salle University in the Philippines. The women's varsity teams are generally referred to as the De La Salle Lady Archers. The school's varsity teams participate in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, among others. La Salle is represented in the high school level by De La Salle Zobel, and are known as the Zobel Junior Archers. Athletic history In 1924, De La Salle College (DLSC) became a pre-war founding member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Irish-American Br. Celba John Lynam, FSC organized the first De La Salle sports teams. 2015 PFF Women's Cup
The 2015 PFF Women's Cup is the 2nd edition of the cup competition. The previous and inaugural edition in 2014 used a 9-a-side format with two halves of 25 minutes. Starting from the 2015 edition, the cup competition were played in full 90 minutes with 11 field players on each team. PFF Women's Cup
The PFF Women's Cup is the national women's football cup of the Philippines organized by the Philippine Football Federation. History The inaugural edition was launched in 2014 by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) and was contested by 10 teams from June to July. The cup was played in a 9-a-side format with two halves of 25 minutes. The following teams participated at the inaugural 9-a-side edition with their division in the group stage: The following edition in 2015 was played in full 90 minutes with 11 field players on each team. 10 teams participated in the match mostly composed by University varsity and alumni teams. In 2016, the PFF Women's League was launched although the PFF would stop organizing the cup tournament. The PFF revived the PFF Women's Cup in late 2022, following two years of inactivity of the women's league due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition had eight teams. UAAP Season 81
UAAP Season 81 is the 2018–19 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season is hosted by National University. Eight member universities of the UAAP competed in the league's fifteen sports to vie for the general championship. Opening ceremony The opening ceremony was held on September 8, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena with the tagline "It All Begins Here". The ceremony kicked off with an intermission number led by the NU Chorale, NU Underdawgz and the NU Pep Squad. NBA star Stephen Curry made a special appearance and led the oath of sportsmanship for the athletes. Local artists Sponge Cola, James Reid and South Korean singer-songwriter and former 2NE1 member Minzy also performed inside the arena. UAAP Season 79
UAAP Season 79 (also known as UAAP LXXIX) is the 2016–2017 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season, hosted by the University of Santo Tomas officially opened on September 3, 2016. The opening ceremony was held at the UST Plaza Mayor at 3:00 pm with the formal introduction of ballroom dancing as a demonstration sport in this season by the host school University of Santo Tomas (UST) at España, Manila. The official ceremony started at 5:00 pm as there was a concert party themed "Dare to Dream" where the official theme song for the season was revealed. However, unlike in the previous years when the first double-header basketball games were held following the opening ceremonies, this year it was held the following day, September 4 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. UAAP Season 72
UAAP Season 72 was the 2009–2010 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It was hosted by Far Eastern University, with opening rites on July 11, 2009 at the Araneta Coliseum. The men's basketball tournament and the women's volleyball tournament were aired by ABS-CBN's UHF Studio 23 for the tenth consecutive year. Opening ceremonies The opening ceremonies for the 72nd UAAP games was held at the Araneta Coliseum last July 11, 2009. The opening rites featured different student organizations from the host Far Eastern University including other participants from the other 7 UAAP member universities. With the season's theme ''One Color. One Goal.'' the event participants wore white costumes, symbolizing ''unity'' in the league, introduced the league member universities through flags and the sarimanok, bearing the member schools' respective colors. UAAP Season 68
UAAP Season 68 was the 2005–06 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Several events were held, the most prominent was the basketball tournament. The tournament is divided into three divisions: the Juniors tournament for high school students, the Women's tournament for female college students, and the Men's tournament for male college students The FEU Tamaraws swept the defending champions La Salle Green Archers, 2 games to none in the Men's tournament to take their record-breaking 19th title, with Arwind Santos as the Finals MVP. It was a rematch of the 2004 Final, where the Archers prevailed, 2–1. In the juniors division, the De La Salle Zobel Junior Archers swept the UPIS Junior Maroons, 2–0, to take their first UAAP title. It was also La Salle's first Juniors title since the 1955 La Salle Green Hills championship in the NCAA.
