The Dogo Argentino (plural Dogos Argentinos) is an Argentine list of dog breeds, breed of large dog of mastiff type. It was selective breeding, bred in the early twentieth century in Córdoba, Argentina, Córdoba in central Argentina, primarily for big-game hunting, hunting large game such as peccary, peccaries, wild boar, and cougar, pumas. The Presa Canario is a Spanish breed of medium-sized dog of mastiff or catch dog type.
