''Dünya Yalan Söylüyor'' (''The World is Telling Lies'') is the fourth studio album by Turkish alternative rock band Mor ve Ötesi. It was released in 2004, and it has sold over 500,000 copies in Turkey. The album was produced by Tarkan Gözübüyük. The keyboard and cümbüş parts on the album were performed by Ozan Tügen. Tarkan Gözübüyük (born 15 July 1970 in Erzurum) is the bass player of the Turkish heavy metal band Mezarkabul (known as ''Pentagram'' in Turkey). He is in relationship with Turkish actrist Janset over 20 years. Early life Born in 1970 in Erzurum, he grew up in Bursa. His first encounter with the bass guitar was aged fourteen. Studied ''jazz'' at the Faculty of Music of Bilkent University, in Ankara. Music career Before joining Mezarkabul, he performed as a Jazz bass guitarist and played in his high-school's main orchestra. This is an album mainly dealing with the political problems of Turkey and the personal problems of the group members, including loss of family members and relationships. His father Mustafa Tügen and his mother Faize Tügen, both are music teachers and graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, music composition department. Sami Harun Tekin (born 28 June 1977) is a Turkish singer, musician, and poet. He is one of the founding members and the vocalist of the Turkish rock band Mor ve Ötesi. Biography In 1988, while being a student at German High School in Istanbul, Harun met Kerem Kabadayı with whom he would later establish his first band. In 1996, Harun started his BSc studies at Boğaziçi University, and graduated as a philosophy major in 2001.
