Swisttal is a municipality in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, Rhein-Sieg district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Swisttal received its names from a brook named Swist, which flows in the middle of the municipality. Geography Swisttal is situated approximately 15 km west of Bonn. It covers an area of approx. 65 km² (of which 10 km² is forest, part of the Kottenforst, and 49 km² is used for agriculture).
