''Då som nu för alltid'' (Swedish language, Swedish for ''Then as Now Forever'') is the twelfth and final studio album by Swedish alternative rock band Kent (band), Kent. The album was released on 20 May 2016 by RCA Records and Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music. Background In June 2015, ''Expressen'' reported that Kent were to record their twelfth studio album in Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Kent posted a picture on their official Facebook page in December 2015 writing, "Thanks for now, Electric Lady Studios". On 14 March 2016, Kent announced the release of ''Då som nu för alltid'' on RCA Records and Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music. It is Kent's first album on Sony Music since ''En plats i solen (Kent album), En plats i solen'' (2010). "Egoist (Kent song), Egoist" was announced as the album's first single, and it was released on the same date. However, on 17 April 2016 Kent announced the track listing which omitted "Egoist". Kent was a Swedish alternative rock band formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With members Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen, the band had numerous radio hits throughout Sweden and Scandinavia and consecutive number-one studio albums on the Sweden top list (Sverigetopplistan) beginning with the release of ''Verkligen'' (1996) and led by the single "Kräm (så nära får ingen gå)". Sami Sirviö (born 28 May 1970) is a Sweden Finnish musician and former lead guitarist of the now discontinued Swedish rock band Kent. Biography Sirviö formed Kent in 1990 along with vocalist Joakim Berg, bassist Martin Sköld, drummer Markus Mustonen and keyboardist Thomas Bergqvist. The band originally called themselves ''Jones & Giftet'' before changing their name first to ''Havsänglar'' and later Kent. By that time Bergqvist had been fired from the band and replaced by Martin Roos.
