Dvsn (stylized as dvsn and pronounced "division") is a Canadian R&B duo composed of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85. After releasing three songs in 2015, the duo signed with Canadian rapper Drake through his label OVO Sound. They released their debut studio album '' Sept. 5th'' to positive reviews that same year. Their second album, '' Morning After'' (2017), continued their critical success. They released their third album '' A Muse in Her Feelings'' (2020) and followed that up with the collaborative album '' Cheers to the Best Memories'' (2021) with Ty Dolla Sign. The duo's fourth studio album, ''Working on My Karma'', was released on October 22, 2022. ''Morning After'' is the second studio album by Canadian R&B duo Dvsn. It was released on October 13, 2017, by OVO Sound and Warner Bros. Records. Background The lead single "Mood" was released on September 5, 2017, which they announced on Instagram. A teaser was revealed by dvsn on Instagram about the album on August 29, 2017. The official artwork was released in the form of a 'movie poster-like' image. In June 2017, they shared the song "Don't Choose", which was included as a single. Critical reception AllMusic's Andy Kellman wrote that the new producers don't stray the duo away from the "downcast style of slow jams and ballads" of '' Sept. 5th'', but concluded that: "Compared to the debut, this has a little more definition." ''Cheers to the Best Memories'' is a collaboration album by the Canadian duo Dvsn and American singer Ty Dolla Sign. It was released on August 20, 2021, by OVO Sound and Warner. The album includes guest appearances from the late Mac Miller, YG, and Rauw Alejandro. OVO Sound (short for October's Very Own) is a Canadian independent record label, founded in 2012 by rapper Drake, producer 40, and manager Oliver El-Khatib. The label operated as a subsidiary of Warner Music Group until 2022, after which it became an independent label.
