Dusán Mukics
Dusán Mukics ( sl, Dušan Mukič, born May 11, 1981) is a Slovene reporter, journalist, musician, poet, ballet performer and translator. He was born in Szombathely. His parents are Ferenc Mukics and Mária Kozár Mukics, noted writers and researchers of the Hungarian Slovenes. He studied at the University of Ljubljana, and he works at Hungarian Television as a reporter for ''Slovenski utrinki'' and as a reporter for the newspaper ''Porabje''. With his father he drew up a book of Hungarian Slovene folk songs called ''Füčkaj, füčkaj fantiček moj'' in the Prekmurje Slovene. In the almanac ''Porabski koledar 2011'' he published poems by Lord Byron, János Arany, Géza Csáth, and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe translated into the Prekmurje Slovene. Dusán was a roommate of Bostjan Zvanut in Ljubljana between 1998 and 2000 in the student housing in Rožna Dolina. They were known for their guitar performances. Rožna Dolina (Ljubljana)
Rožna Dolina (; sl, Rožna dolina) is a formerly independent settlement in the southwest part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. Géza Csáth (; born József Brenner; February 13, 1887 – September 11, 1919) was a Hungarian writer, playwright, musician, music critic, psychiatrist, and physician. He was the cousin of Dezső Kosztolányi. Life Géza Csáth (pen name of József Brenner) was a writer, critic, music theoretician and medical doctor. A competent violinist even as a child, he originally wanted to be a painter, but his teachers criticised his drawing, so he turned to writing. He was barely fourteen years old when his first writings on music criticism were published. After grammar school he moved from his native Szabadka (now Subotica in Serbia) to Budapest in order to study medicine. While at college he wrote short sketches and reviews for newspapers and magazines. He was among the first to laud the work of Béla Bartók, Bartók and Zoltán Kodály, Kodály.
