Drew Sycamore
Drew Kolstrup (born Michelle Katarina Drew Nielsen, 1 June 1990), known professionally as Drew Sycamore, is a Danish singer and songwriter. Life and career Sycamore was born in a Danish-Welsh family and grew up in village Hvilsom, near Aalestrup. After finishing high school, she moved to England to study music, where she met Philipp Hill. They formed the duo ''DREWXHILL'' and released two EPs together: ''Solitude'' and ''Bullets''. As a solo artist, she made her debut in 2018 with the song "Keeping Up". In 2019, she released singles "28", "Let Me Love You" and "Perfect Disaster", which preceded her debut album ''Brutal'', released on 11 October. In 2020, Sycamore received two nominations at Danish Music Awards. The same year she released the standalone track "Moments Gone" and two singles from her sophomore album ''Sycamore'': "Take It Back" and "I Wanna Be Dancing", both of which topped the Danish airplay chart. Smukfest
Smukfest (also known as the Skanderborg Festival) is an annual music festival, held during the second weekend of August in Denmark. Its location, in a beech forest in the vicinity of Skanderborg, has given rise to the slogan "Denmark's Most Beautiful Festival" (Danish: ''Danmarks Smukkeste Festival''). The festival covers many styles of music, such as rock, pop, folk, heavy metal, hip-hop and electronic. Lukas Graham is a Danish pop band consisting of lead vocalist Lukas Forchhammer, and drummer Mark Falgren. The band released '' Lukas Graham'', their first album, with labels Copenhagen Records and in 2012. The album peaked at number one on the Danish charts. NorthSide Festival (Denmark)
NorthSide Festival, or simply NorthSide, is a three-day music festival held every year in June in Aarhus, Denmark. It has four stages with rotating artists and several sideshow events and happenings. The first festival commenced in 2010 and from 2011 to 2019, the festival has been held at Ådalen Aarhus, Ådalen in Åbyhøj. The 2017 festival was attended by 40,000 people each day. In 2022, for the very first time, NorthSide took place in Eskelunden, right by Aarhus Å and in the backyard of the city. The festival now goes by the name NorthSide to avoid confusion with the Northside Festival in Brooklyn. Grøn Koncert
Grøn Koncert (literally "Green Concert") is an annually recurring series of Danish one-day music festivals. Taking place in July, the concerts are performed by a selection of bands who tour around Denmark for about ten days. The concerts have been held every year since 1983, always with mostly or exclusively Danish artists. The concerts are arranged by Muskelsvindfonden, a Danish support organisation for muscular dystrophy sufferers; the practical work for the concerts is done by several hundred people from "Det Grønne Crew", Muskelsvindfonden's concert volunteer group. Roskilde Festival
The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism. In 2014, the Roskilde Foundation provided festival participants with the opportunity to nominate and vote upon which organizations should receive funds raised by the festival.
