Dragoș Albu
Constantin Dragoș Albu (born 15 March 2001) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga I club Hermannstadt. Club career Albu made his senior debut for Jong FC Utrecht on 23 December 2017, coming on as a 79th-minute substitute for Shayne Pattynama in a 1–3 Eerste Divisie loss to Fortuna Sittard. In the summer of 2020, he returned to Romania by signing with FC U Craiova. On 5 September 2024, Albu was sent on loan for the rest of the season to Gloria Buzău. International career Albu is a Romania youth international, and has represented the country at under-16, under-17, under-18, and under-21 levels. Plenița
Plenița is a Commune in Romania, commune in Dolj County, Oltenia, Romania with a population of 4,156 people as of 2021. It is composed of two villages, Castrele Traiane and Plenița. The locality was a town until 1950. It is located in the western part of the county, at a distance of from the county seat, Craiova, and from the Danube, on the border with Mehedinți County. Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama (born 11 August 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back or left wing-back. Born in the Netherlands, he represents the Indonesia national team. The Liga 2, most commonly spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 football season. It is currently sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company under the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Since its inception in 1934, Liga II has had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. But since the 2016-17 Liga II, it changed to one group of 20 teams. Currently, the top six teams goes in the promotion play-off, in which the top 2 teams get promoted and the next 2 play a promotion play-off against teams from Liga I. It is the ninth Liga II season with a single series. The 2023–24 Liga I (also known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the 106th season of the Liga I, the top Romanian professional league for association football clubs. The 2022–23 Liga I (also known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 105th season of the SuperLiga, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season started on 16 July 2022 and ended in May 2023. It was the eighth season to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced. Farul Constanța claimed the title, ending the five season domination of the Transylvanian side CFR Cluj. After the conclusion of the regular season, teams will be divided according to their place to enter either the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs.
