Dragan Lukić
Dragan Lukić ( sr-cyr, Драган Лукић; 30 November 1928 – 1 January 2006) was a Serbian children's writer. Biography He was born in Belgrade. His mother's name was Tomanija, and his father, Aleksandar, was a pressman, so he acquired an affection for books at an early age. In 1946 he started to publish, and during the 1950s he became a known children's poet. In 1952, he published his first books (poetry-picture books): ''The great run'' (''Велика трка'') and ''Animals as football players'' (''Звери као футбалери''). In 1954, he finished his studies of literature on the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philology, and then he worked lecturer of children's literature. After eight years, he started working as an editor of children's program on Radio Belgrade, where he stayed until retirement. Dobrica Erić ( sr-cyr, Добрица Ерић; 22 August 1936 – 29 March 2019) was a Serbian writer and poet. Biography Erić completed 4 years of elementary school, and for a period of time worked as a manual laborer. His poetry for kids and adults was inspired by the rural environment and slow pace of life. He is the author of numerous novels, five books of romantic poetry, 23 poetry books, 5 theatre dramas and over 40 children's books. The University of Belgrade () is a public university, public research university in Belgrade, Serbia. It is the oldest and largest modern university in Serbia. Founded in 1808 as the Belgrade Higher School in revolutionary Serbia, by 1838 it merged with the Kragujevac-based departments into a single university.
