Dragan Jakovljević (basketball)
Dragan Jakovljević ( sr-cyr, Драган Jaкoвљeвић; born 18 April 1973) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He last served as a head coach for Mladost Zemun of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League Second Division. Coaching career Jakovljević spent the first 19 years of his coaching career working with youth system. Almost the entire time, he spent with the Belgrade-based Žitko Basket. The only time out of Žitko Basket was in the 2013–14 season when he coached Crvena zvezda U16 team. Coach (basketball)
Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Coaches also have the responsibility to improve their team by player development, strategy, and in-game management. Coaches also teach and inspire their team to be their best. Coaching is usually performed by a single person, often with the help of one or more assistants. The ABA League Second Division, also ABA League 2, is the 2nd-tier men's basketball division of the ABA League system. It is run by the ABA League JTD.
