Dominik Tóth
Dominik Tóth (3 August 1925 – 16 May 2015) was a Slovak Catholic bishop. Born in Kostolný Sek, he was ordained a priest in Trnava and appointed the titular bishop of Ubaba in 1990. Tóth retired as the auxiliary bishop of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Bratislava, Bratislava in 2004, and died in 2015. Trnava
Trnava (, , ; , also known by other #Names and etymology, alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia, to the northeast of Bratislava, on the Trnávka river. It is the capital of the Trnava Region and the Trnava District. It is the seat of a Roman Catholic archbishopric (1541–1820 and then again since 1977). The city has a historic center. Because of the many churches within its city walls, Trnava has often been called "Little Rome" (, ), or more recently, the "Slovak Rome". The Archdiocese of Bratislava (, ) is a Latin Church archdiocese of the Catholic Church in western Slovakia including Bratislava and the western Trnava regions. It has its seat in Bratislava. The current archbishop is Stanislav Zvolenský and auxiliary bishop is Jozef Haľko. History It was first created as Apostolic Administration of Trnava on 29 May 1922, subordinate to the Archdiocese of Esztergom. On the order of Pope Paul VI on 30 December 1977, it was separated from the former, elevated to the status of diocese and renamed to the Archdiocese of Trnava, and it had at first suffragans of Nitra, Banská Bystrica, Rožňava, Košice and Spiš. The term "the people" refers to the public or common mass of people of a polity. As such it is a concept of human rights law, international law as well as constitutional law, particularly used for claims of popular sovereignty.
