Dominic Perrottet
Dominic Francis Perrottet ; (born 21 September 1982) is an Australian politician who served as the 46th premier of New South Wales from 2021 to 2023. He held office as leader of the New South Wales division of the Liberal Party of Australia, and assumed the position following the resignation of Gladys Berejiklian. Perrottet previously served as treasurer of New South Wales and deputy leader of the New South Wales Liberal Party from January 2017 to October 2021, and was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing the seat of Epping from the 2019 state election until his resignation in 2024. He represented Castle Hill from 2011 to 2015 and Hawkesbury from 2015 to 2019. Castle Hill is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is represented by Mark Hodges of the Liberal Party. It is a conservative urban electorate in the Hills District in Sydney's north west. History The electorate formed during the redistribution in 2004 and replaced the former electorate of The Hills, which was abolished at the same time. It was first contested at the 2007 election, when it was won by Michael Richardson, previously the member for The Hills. While the Hills District has long been Liberal heartland, Castle Hill is considered a particularly safe seat even by Hills standards. Monica Joan Tudehope is an Australian politician. In 2024, she was selected by the NSW Liberals to contest the 2024 Epping by-election, in which she was elected. Early life Tudehope is the daughter of current member of the Legislative Council Damien Tudehope and was raised in West Pennant Hills. Tudehope attended Tangara School for Girls, in Cherrybrook and graduated from the University of Sydney.
