Agnieszka Domańska (born 8 March 1975 in Łódź) is a Polish former ice dancer. She and partner Marcin Głowacki trained in Łódź, coached by Maria Olszewska-Lelonkiewicz. Domańska / Głowacki placed 12th at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships in 1991, 20th and 21st at the World Figure Skating Championships in 1992 and 1993, respectively, and 19th, 14th, 15th at the European Figure Skating Championships in 1992, 1993 and 1994, respectively. Andrzej Domański
Andrzej Jan Domański (born 27 August 1981) is a Polish economist, and politician. He is the current Minister of Finance in the Cabinet of Donald Tusk having been sworn in on the 13 December 2023. Early life and education Domański studied economics at the Cracow University of Economics. He later became a lecturer at both Łazarski University and SWPS University. Political career Formerly a fund manager Domański stood for the Sejm in 2019 but was not elected after garnering just 1,329 votes. Domański ran in the 2023 elections under the slogan ''Człowiek od gospodarki'' (The economy guy). Despite being a new candidate for Civic Platform he was responsible for authoring their economic programme. Bartosz Domański
Bartosz Domański (born 25 August 1980) is a Polish former competitive figure skater. He is the 2002 and 2003 Polish national champion. He competed twice at the European Figure Skating Championships and three times at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships. He and Sabina Wojtala used to coach each other. Bolesław Domański (January 14, 1872 – April 21, 1939) was a famous Polish people, Polish Catholic Church in Poland, Catholic Catholic Priest, Priest, and was the President of the Union of Poles in Germany from 1931 to 1939. Don Domanski
Don Domanski (April 29, 1950 – September 7, 2020) was a Canadian poet. Biography Domanski was born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia, and lived briefly in Toronto, Vancouver and Wolfville, before settling in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he lived for most of his life. Author of nine collections of poetry, his work has been translated into Arabic, Chinese, Czech, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. In a review of ''Wolf-Ladder'' John Bradley described Domanski's poetry as "earthy and astral, dark and buoyant, a cross between Robert Bly, Ted Hughes, and the Brothers Grimm." In 1999 he received the Canadian Literary Award for Poetry from CBC (the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). His 2007 collection ''All Our Wonder Unavenged'' was honoured with the Governor General's Award for Poetry, the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia Masterworks Award, and the Atlantic Poetry Prize. Janina Domańska
Janina Domańska (28 July 1913 – 2 February 1995) was a Polish-born American artist, author and illustrator. She is best known for her self-illustrated children's books. She won a Caldecott Honor for her book ''If All the Seas Were One Sea'' in 1972. Personal life Domańska was born in Warsaw. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland in 1939. She was held briefly in a concentration camp in Germany, before being released to stay with a doctor and his family in Germany. In 1946 Domanska studied painting in Italy, and then emigrated to the United States in 1952. She worked designing textiles before she began creating book illustrations. She was married to writer Jerzy Laskowski. And later to Ernest Nossen. She lived in New Fairfield, Connecticut. Career Domańska wrote, adapted and translated 22 books with her own illustrations.
