Domagoj Of Croatia
Domagoj ( la, Domagoi) was Duke of Croatia from 864 to 876, and the founder of the Domagojević dynasty. He usurped the Croatian throne after the death of Trpimir I and expelled his sons. He took a more active role in the Adriatic Sea than his predecessors, encouraged the use of force and waged many wars, specifically with the Arabs, Venice and the East Francia. Domagoj's belligerence and the tolerance and support of piracy caused bad relations with Pope John VIII, which was further worsened after Domagoj showed no mercy to his conspirators. Formally a Frankish vassal, he used to his advantage the Frankish succession crisis and started a successful revolt against Carloman of Bavaria. After his death in 876, Domagoj was succeeded by his son who was deposed and expelled by Zdeslav in 878. Domagoj Vida (; born 29 April 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Super League Greece club AEK Athens and the Croatia national team. He is capable of playing in any defensive position but is mostly deployed as a centre-back or a right-back. Domagoj Bradarić (; born 10 December 1999) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays for Italian club Salernitana and the Croatia national team as a left-back. Club career Hajduk Split Born in Split, Bradarić joined the youth setup of Hajduk Split in 2007. Ahead of the 2017–18 season, he was promoted to the reserves. Domagoj Duvnjak (born 1 June 1988) is a Croatian professional handball player for THW Kiel and the Croatia national team. Duvnjak is regarded as one of the best handball players of all time alongside fellow Croatian Ivano Balić. He became a member of the Croatia national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. He also represented Croatia at the 2012, where Croatia won bronze, and 2016 Olympics. Domagoj Bošnjak
Domagoj Bošnjak (born April 9, 1995) is a Croatian professional basketball player currently playing for Široki of the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ABA League Second Division. Standing at 1.98 m he plays the shooting guard and small forward positions. Professional career Bošnjak started his professional career with Široki during the 2011–12 season. In August 2014 Bošnjak was loaned to Zadar in a one-year deal. After signing for Zadar and spending the 2015–16 season, in August 2016 he moved to Cibona. After spending a season in Cedevita, in August 2019 he moved to Rouen of the French second-tier LNB Pro B League. Domagoj Pavičić (born 9 March 1994) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Konyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig. Club career Pavičić joined Lokomotiva on two loans from Dinamo Zagreb in order to get first team chances. He scored his first goal for the club against Zadar in a 2-0 away win. Domagoj Franić (born 17 August 1993) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for NK Solin. Career Early career Franić started off his professional playing career at Split in 2012. After Split, Franić played primarily for 2. HNL and 3. HNL clubs Dugopolje, Mosor and Lučko. Domagoj Abramović (; born 1 April 1981) is a Croatian footballer who plays for NK Omladinac Strmec. He was part of the Croatian squad at the 2004 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. Domagoj Antolić (; born 30 June 1990) is a Croatian footballer who plays for Damac as a midfielder. Club career Antolić was promoted to the GNK Dinamo Zagreb first team during the spring of 2008. He made his debut in the eternal derby, coming on as a last minute substitute, on 8 March 2008. Antolić made four more appearances that season, all as a substitute. The next year he went on a season long loan to Dinamo's farm side NK Lokomotiva, who were then in the second division. Domagoj Pušić (born 24 October 1991) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Malaysia Super League side Terengganu FC. Club career Pušić started his career playing at youth level for his hometown club Osijek, with whom he signed a professional three-year contract in July 2008. Domagoj Kapetanović (30 January 1926 – 2005) was a Yugoslav football player and manager best known for winning the 1976 NASL Championship with Toronto Metros-Croatia. Playing career Club Kapetanović started his playing career with Građanski. After the club was disbanded by a decree of the communist authorities in 1945, he was one of several Građanski players who went on to join the Belgrade-based FK Partizan, along with Franjo Glaser, Zlatko Čajkovski, Stjepan Bobek, Miroslav Brozović and others.
