Dom Thomas
Dominic Thomas (born 14 February 1996) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Queen's Park. Thomas, who started his professional career with Motherwell, has also played for Kilmarnock and has been on loan over two spells at both Queen of the South and Dumbarton. A former Celtic academy player, Thomas made his Motherwell debut in 2014 and went on to sign a new contract in 2015. He joined Kilmarnock in 2017 and had multiple loan spells before signing a permanent deal with Dunfermline Athletic in 2020. Internationally, Thomas represented Scotland at the Under-21 level with six caps. Club career Motherwell Thomas was a product of Celtic's academy until 2010 and then transferred to the Fir Park club. 2015–16 Scottish Youth Cup
The 2015–16 Scottish Youth Cup is the 33rd season of the Scottish Youth Cup, the national knockout tournament at youth level organised by the Scottish Football Association for its full and associate member clubs. The tournament was for the under-20 age group, to complement current youth development strategies, having formerly been an under-19 competition. Players born after 1 January 1996 are eligible to play. Calendar Format The sixteen clubs who reached the fourth round of the 2014–15 competition receive a bye to the third round of this season's tournament. Greg Kiltie
Greg Kiltie (born 18 January 1997) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a winger for St Mirren. Early life Kiltie was born in Irvine. As a nine-year-old child he was a mascot in the Brazil-Australia group game at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, after winning a competition organised by the '' Sunday Mail''. His father Jim is a BT engineer. The Professional Footballers' Association Scotland Team of the Year (often called the PFA Scotland Team of the Year, or simply the Team of the Year) is an annual award given to a set of 44 footballers in the four national tiers of the Scottish football league system, who are seen to be deserving of being named in a "Team of the Year". Scottish League One
The Scottish League One, known as cinch League One for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League One was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Format Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. At the end of each season, the club with the most points is crowned league champion. If points are equal, the goal difference determines the winner. Palmerston Park
Palmerston Park is a football stadium on Terregles Street in Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is the home ground of Scottish League One club Queen of the South, who have played there since 1919. South of Scotland League club Heston Rovers have shared Palmerston since 2013. The stadium has a capacity of of which 3,377 are seats. History Palmerston Park was first opened in 1919, when Queen of the South were formed, although football had been played at the site since the 1870s. The site of the ground was formerly a farm called Palmers Toun. This is on the Maxwelltown side of the River Nith in Dumfries. Jimmy McKinnell, Tom Wylie and Willie McCall were all sold to Blackburn Rovers around the same time by Queen of the South.
