Dodie Boy Peñalosa
Diosdado "Dodie Boy" Peñalosa (born November 19, 1962) is a Filipino former professional boxer who competed from 1982 to 1995. He is a weight class (boxing), world champion in two weight classes, having held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-flyweight title from 1983 to 1986 and the IBF flyweight title in 1987. Professional career Peñalosa won the Philippine light flyweight title on November 26, 1982, by a 12th round stoppage against Romy Austria. He defended it against Alfredo Guanzon on January 30, 1983, although the bout ended in a no-contest for unknown reasons. In 1983, he became the first International Boxing Federation, IBF light flyweight champion with a technical knockout win over Satoshi Shingaki who would later become the inaugural IBF bantamweight champion. Gerry Peñalosa
Geronimo "Gerry" J. Peñalosa (born August 7, 1972) is a Filipino former professional boxer who competed from 1989 to 2010. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the WBC super-flyweight title from 1997 to 1998, and the WBO bantamweight title from 2007 to 2009. Originally from the city of San Carlos, Negros Occidental, Peñalosa currently resides in Manila. He was trained mainly by Freddie Roach, and went on to become a boxing trainer himself after retirement. Peñalosa's older brother, Dodie Boy Peñalosa, is also a former boxer and world champion. Choi Jum-hwan
Jum Hwan Choi (born June 9, 1963) is a South Korean former professional boxer who competed from 1983 to 1990. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) light-flyweight title from 1986 to 1988 and the World Boxing Council (WBC) strawweight title from 1989 to 1990. Professional career Choi turned professional in 1983 and in 1986 captured the vacant IBF light-flyweight title with a decision win over Park Cho-woon. Amado Ursua (born 13 September 1956) is a Mexican former professional boxer and WBC light flyweight champion. Professional career Amado won the Mexican National Light Flyweight title by upsetting veteran German Torres in a twelfth-round unanimous decision. Shin Hi-sup (; born July 29, 1964 – July 3, 2023) was a South Korean boxer. Professional career In 1980 he successfully started his professional career. On August 2, 1986, he boxed against Jung Bi-won for the IBF world title and won by technical knockout in round 15. However, he lost this belt in his second title defense to Dodie Boy Peñalosa in February of the following year by knockout. After this defeat he retired from boxing. Rolando Bohol (born December 25, 1965) is a Filipino former professional boxer and actor. He competed from 1984 to 1994, holding the IBF flyweight title in 1988, and challenged once for the IBF bantamweight title in 1994. Professional career Bohol turned professional in 1984 and got a draw on his first match. After 15 matches (13 wins and 2 draws), Bohol lost to Dadoy Andujar by a 10-round decision on September 29, 1985. His first fight outside home soil took place in Sokcho South Korea against Joon Huh on July 20, 1986.
