Dmitri Alekseyevich Vasilyev (; born 16 June 2004) is a Russian football player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Sochi on loan from Zenit Saint Petersburg. Club career He made his debut for Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Russian Super Cup match on 15 July 2023 against CSKA Moscow at the 89th minute, replacing Du Queiroz. He made his Russian Premier League debut for Zenit on 13 August 2023 in a game against Fakel Voronezh. On 14 December 2023, Vasilyev extended his contract with Zenit until the end of the 2027–28 season. On 9 July 2025, Vasilyev was loaned by Sochi. The 2023–24 Russian Cup is the 32nd season of the Russian football knockout tournament since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The Russian Cup () is a football competition held annually by the Football Union of Russia for professional and some amateur (only after a special permission and licensing by Russian Football Union) football clubs. The winner of the competition ordinarily got a spot in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round.
