Diège (Dordogne)
The Diège (; ) is a long river in the Corrèze ''département'', south central France. Its source is at Saint-Setiers, on the plateau de Millevaches, in the '' parc naturel régional de Millevaches en Limousin''. It flows generally southeast. It is a right tributary of the Dordogne into which it flows between Roche-le-Peyroux and Saint-Julien-près-Bort, southwest of Clermont-Ferrand. Its main tributary is the Liège. 220px, Location of the Plateau de Millevaches in France 220px, Plateau de Millevaches The Plateau de Millevaches (; ) is an upland area in Limousin a former administrative region of France. It covers approximately 3,500 km2 and crosses the boundaries of three French departments: Corrèze, Creuse, and Haute-Vienne. The majority of the area is at an altitude of between 600 m and 1000 m. Structure and geology Although commonly referred to as a plateau, the Millevaches Massif is actually more like a shallow dome, deeply dissected by streams and rivers, and slightly tilted, with the south-eastern edge elevated and more exposed.
