Kortepohja
Kortepohja is a district in Jyväskylä, Finland. It is located approximately from the city centre on the western side of Lake Tuomiojärvi. The population of Kortepohja was 8,084 in December 2020. Neighborhoods of the district include Ylioppilaskylä, Kortesuo, Kortemäki, Korteniitty, Laajavuori and Haukkala. The statistical divisions of Kortepohja are Kortesuo, Ylioppilaskylä, Kortekeskus, Korteranta, Kortemäki and Laajavuori-Haukkala. The Laajavuori ski resort is located in the district. A child psychiatric institute is located in Haukkala. History The area of modern Kortepohja was initially owned by the Nisula farm, which was established in 1607. The farm was eventually acquired by the Schildt family. The Schildts built a new main building in the late 1930s, which became the ''Kortesuo'' manor. Kangasvuori is a district and a statistical area of Jyväskylä, Finland. The statistical area forms the Huhtasuo ward together with Huhtasuo Huhtasuo is one of the districts of Jyväskylä, Finland. Tourula
Tourula is a district of Jyväskylä, Finland, and a part of the Kantakaupunki ward. It is located near downtown Jyväskylä and separated from it by the river Tourujoki. The district also includes the Kangas suburb. The official district of Tourula borders Lohikoski in the north, Kangasvuori in the northeast, Halssila in the east, Lutakko in the south, Puistola in the west and Taulumäki in the northwest. Tourula was a residential area for the working class, made of wooden single-family houses which were built in the 1910s and 1920s. The area was transferred from Jyväskylän maalaiskunta to Jyväskylä in 1941, and after that the wooden houses started to decay and they were torn down during the 1970s and 1980s.
