Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America (doing business as Warner Bros. Discovery Americas) is a company managing a collection of pay television networks and other services in Latin America. The company was created in April 2022, bringing together WarnerMedia Latin America (founded in 1993 as Turner Broadcasting System Latin America), and Discovery Latin America (founded on August 1, 1994). Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America offers "a portfolio of channels, led by Discovery Channel and others networks, that are distributed in every pay TV market in the Latin America". The division offers 22 channels and operates sports in two languages (Spanish and Portuguese for Brazil) with "channel feeds customized according needs of advertising and sales opportunities". Discovery Kids (stylized as DK) is a Latin American subscription television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery and headquartered in Miami, Florida, which started as a programming block on the Latin American version of Discovery Channel. It launched on 1 November 1996, with programming aimed for older children and preschoolers. It was owned by Discovery Networks Latin America and is one of two Discovery Kids-branded channels that remains airing (the other being Discovery Kids India). The programming is entirely in either Spanish or Portuguese, depending on the region. The channel is divided into six live feeds: Pan-regional, Colombia, Southern (plus a Chilean subfeed), Mexico and Brazil, each with their own HD simulcast feeds. Discovery Home & Health is a television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery that features lifestyle programming. Discovery Home & Health is available in Latin America, Australia, Republic of Ireland, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. It was formerly available on Australia's SelecTV (Australian television), SelecTV from March 2007 until the closure of its English service in late 2007, but remained available through Foxtel and Austar.
