Disclosure Movement
The disclosure movement is a social movement that argues governments generally, or the United States Government specifically, has secret information regarding UFOs and so-called "non-human intelligence" – variously described as space aliens, "interdimensional" beings, a novel form of life, or even time travelers. The movement advocates for that supposed information to be declassified for purposes of human social and scientific advancement. The disclosure movement prophesizes a future event or process called "disclosure" that will mark the date upon which such declassification occurs. Adherents of the disclosure movement have variously predicted that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Donald Trump, or Pope Leo XIV are on the verge of initiating disclosure. Luis Elizondo
Luis Elizondo is an American author, media personality and UFO disclosure activist formerly employed by the United States Department of Defense in roles of United States Army Counterintelligence and with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSDI). Elizondo claims that UFOs are of extraterrestrial, cryptid, or " interdimensional" origin, and that the US Government is withholding and suppressing this information. Early life and education Elizondo is the son of Luis Elizondo III, a Cuban exile who volunteered for Brigade 2506, a CIA-sponsored group of exiles formed in 1960 to attempt the military overthrow of the Cuban government headed by Fidel Castro, which culminated in the Bay of Pigs invasion. Declassification
Declassification is the process of ceasing a protective classification, often under the principle of freedom of information. Procedures for declassification vary by country. Papers may be withheld without being classified as secret, and eventually made available. United Kingdom Classified information has been governed by various Official Secrets Acts, the latest being the Official Secrets Act 1989. Until 1989 requested information was routinely kept secret invoking the public interest defence; this was largely removed by the 1989 Act. The Freedom of Information Act 2000 largely requires information to be disclosed unless there are good reasons for secrecy. Secular
Secularity, also the secular or secularness (from Latin , or or ), is the state of being unrelated or neutral in regards to religion. The origins of secularity can be traced to the Bible itself. The concept was fleshed out through Christian history into the modern era. Since the Middle Ages, there have been clergy not pertaining to a religious order called "secular clergy".
