''Disaster'' is the fourth EP by American metalcore band Attack Attack! Attack Attack may refer to: * Attack Attack! (American band), an American band ''(with one exclamation mark)'' ** ''Attack Attack!'' (album), the American band's second studio album released in 2010 * Attack! Attack! (Welsh band), a Welsh band '' .... It was released on September 20, 2024, through Oxide Records. It is the band's first release to not feature guitarist Andrew Whiting, though he did receive writing credits. All tracks have music videos, The music video of "Spitfire" was released on the same day as the EP release. Promotion The first single from the EP, "Concrete", was released on May 16, 2024. It was followed by two more singles, "Disaster" released on June 14, 2024, and "Blood on the Walls" released on July 12, 2024. Attack Attack! (American Band)
Attack Attack! is an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio, originally formed in 2007 as Ambiance. After self-releasing their first EP in 2007, the band signed to Rise Records the same year. They released three full-length albums, ''Someday Came Suddenly'', Attack Attack! (album), ''Attack Attack!'', and ''This Means War (Attack Attack! album), This Means War'' all through Rise Records. The band left Rise Records in 2012 and disbanded the following year after a farewell tour. On October 19, 2020, the band announced a re-formation, with a mix of returning and new members. History Formation (2007) Attack Attack! formed in 2007 when Johnny Franck, Andrew Whiting, Nick White and Andrew Wetzel met Austin Carlile while playing in local high school bands. Alternative Metal
Alternative metal (also known as alt-metal) is a genre of heavy metal music that combines heavy metal with influences from alternative rock and other genres not normally associated with metal. Electronicore (also known as synthcore or trancecore) is a fusion genre of metalcore music with elements of various electronic music genres, often including trance, electronica, and dubstep. Reception Attack Attack! is often recognized as the primary American contributor of the style, being inspired by British band Enter Shikari. Metalcore
Metalcore is a broadly defined fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, originating in the 1990s United States and becoming popular in the 2000s. Metalcore typically has aggressive verses and melodic choruses, combined with Breakdown (music), breakdowns – which are slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining traits are low-tuned, percussive guitar riffs, double bass drumming, and polished production. Vocalists typically switch between roaring or Screaming (music), screaming and clean, melodic, emotional singing. Lyrics are often personal, introspective and emotive. 2024 EPs
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve.
