Amy Joy Wroe Bechtel (August 4, 1972 – disappeared July 24, 1997; declared legally dead 2004) was an American woman who disappeared while jogging in the Wind River Range approximately 15 miles southwest of Lander, Wyoming. Bechtel was a record-breaking distance runner at the University of Wyoming and aspired to qualify for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Her disappearance garnered extensive media coverage and investigative work, but her case remains unsolved. The show contains re-enactments and interviews with law enforcement officers, investigators, and relatives connected with cases in which individuals have gone missing person, missing. Each episode focuses on a single case of either one individual, or sometimes several individuals who disappeared together. The show's initial run was composed of six seasons that originally aired between December 2009 to April 2013. Following a three-year-long hiatus, on April 11, 2016, the show resumed on the Investigation Discovery network, debuting its seventh season. In 2021, the show was returned as a podcast. The show ran for eleven seasons from September 7, 1987, to May 8, 1998, in which it broadcast 2,163 episodes. Lil' Miss Murder
The Lil' Miss murder is the name given to the murder case of Lisa Marie Kimmell (July 18, 1969 – April 2, 1988), a young American woman who disappeared while traveling from Denver, Colorado, to her family's home in Billings, Montana. Her case was given its name due to her vehicle, a Honda CR-X, which had the distinctive personalized license plate reading "LIL MISS", a fact widely publicized in efforts to recover her. Kimmell remained a missing person for eight days before her body was discovered floating in the North Platte River near Casper, Wyoming. Evidence from a nearby bridge revealed she had been bludgeoned and stabbed to death there, before being thrown into the water.
