Dino Rešidbegović
Dino Rešidbegović (born 14 December 1975 in Sarajevo) is a Bosnian contemporary classical music and Electronic music, electronic/electroacoustic music composer. Education Dr. Dino Rešidbegović was born in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia (today Bosnia and Herzegovina) on 14 December 1975 and received his musical training on piano at the elementary and secondary music school there. After moving to Vienna in 1994, he studied music composition (gradual and master programme), at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien (University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna) and at the Konservatorium Wien (Privat Univarsität der Stadt Wien) - Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, with professors Heinz Karl Gruber, :de:Wolfgang Liebhart, Wolfgang Liebhart and :de:Rainer Bischof, Rainer Bischof. Uroš Lajovic
Uroš Lajovic is a Slovenian conductor and professor. He has served as guest conductor, permanent conductor, artistic director and artistic advisor at numerous prominent European orchestras. He is professor emeritus at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Career Uroš Lajovic, born on July 4, 1944, in Slovenia studied composition and conducting in his home town Ljubljana. In the years 1975 to 1979 he was the chief conductor of the RTV Chamber Orchestra. After having studied with Prof. Bruno Maderna at Mozarteum in Salzburg he continued at Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria with Prof. Hans Swarowsky in whose class Lajovic received a master's degree with honors. Conducting is the art of directing a musical performance, such as an orchestral or Choir, choral concert. It has been defined as "the art of directing the simultaneous performance of several players or singers by the use of gesture." Detlev Müller-Siemens (born 30 July 1957) is a German composer and conductor. Life and career Born in Hamburg, Müller-Siemens began with piano lessons at age six and began composing. He was invited to a composition class at the Musikhochschule Köln at age 13. He studied piano, composition and theory at the Musikhochschule Hamburg from 1970 with Günter Friedrichs. From 1973 to 1980, he studied with György Ligeti. He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris in 1977/78 with Olivier Messiaen. Back in Hamburg, he studied piano with Volker Banfield, and conducting with Christoph von Dohnányi. In 1985, he studied conducting further with Klauspeter Seibel. In 1981, he was an assistant at the Paris Opéra for Ligeti's '' Le Grand Macabre''. He was Kapellmeister of the Städtische Bühnen Freiburg from 1986 to 1988. Magna Cum Laude
Latin honors are a system of Latin phrases used in some colleges and universities to indicate the level of distinction with which an academic degree has been earned. Heinz Karl Gruber
Heinz Karl "Nali" Gruber (born 3 January 1943), who styles himself HK Gruber professionally, is an Austrian composer, conductor, double bass player and singer. He is a leading figure of the so-called Third Viennese School. Career Gruber is said to be a descendant (though the descent remains obscure) of Franz Xaver Gruber, composer of the carol ''Stille Nacht'' (Silent Night). He was born in Vienna. From 1953 to 1957 Gruber was a member of the Vienna Boys' Choir, acquiring his nickname 'Nali' (from his snoring, he believes). He studied at the Vienna Hochschule für Musik, his composition teachers being Alfred Uhl, Erwin Ratz and Hanns Jelinek, and later Gottfried von Einem, with whom he also studied privately.
