Dinarsuspor
Dinarsuspor was a women's football club based in Istanbul, Turkey. Dinarsuspor was founded in 1991 by six women's footballers, who left Dostluk Spor. The team was the women's football side of the same-named club, which was established in 1982 by the carpeting and artificial turf producer Dinarsu. With the establishment of the Turkish Women's Football League by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) in 1994, the team started to play regular matches. The team became champion already in the first ever league season in 1994. The team repeated their success in a row in the following three seasons also. The team won the Federation Cup in 1997 as well. Dinarsuspor took part at international tournaments. They became champion of the Schwäbisch Hall Tournament in Germany in 1996. They placed in the 1997 Stuttgart-tockach Tournament, at which 42 teams participated from Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Germany. 1994 Turkish Women's Football League
The 1994 season of the Turkish Women's Football League is the first season of Turkey's premier women's association football, women's football league. In its meeting on 22 December 1993, the Turkish Football Federation decided to officially establish a women's football league in Turkey. The league consisted of 16 totally amateur clubs competing in four groups. The league started with group matches on 2 April 1994, and ended on 21 May 1994 with the final match played. Feride Akgün
Feride Akgün (born 1973) is a Turkish former footballer, who played as forward in the Turkish Women's League for various clubs, and the Turkey women's national team. She was named the league's top goalscorer three times. Early years Akgün professionally played volleyball at Galatasaray. She then switched over to football. Club career Akgün played for the Istanbul-based Turkish Women's League clubs Dinarsuspor (1990-1997) and Marshall Boyaspor (1997–2001). Ayşe Kuru
Ayşe Kuru (born 2 January 1974) is a Turkish former women's football defender. She was part of the Turkish women's national team between 1996 and 2001. Playing career Club Kuru obtained her license for Dinarsuspor on 30 August 1996. She played in the Turkish Women's Football League, and was captain of her team. After Dinarsuspor withdrew from the league, she transferred to Zara Ekinlispor in August 1999, and then moved to Marshall Boyaspor in November the same year. Seyhan Gündüz (born September 15, 1980) is a Turkish former women's footballer who plays as a forward. She last played in the Turkish Women's First Football League for Zeytinburnuspor in Istanbul. She was part of the Turkish women's national team between 1997 and 2002. Playing career Club Seyhan Gündüz began football playing with boys in the neighborhood. Aysun Boyacı (born 1972) is a Turkish former footballer, national teams coach and high school teacher of physical education. Boyacı played for the Istanbul-based Dinasruspor in the Turkish Women's League between 1991 and 1996. Bilgin Defterli (born 1 November 1980) is a Turkish former women's football forward. She had been a member of the Turkey women's national football team from 1999 to 2014 and served as their captain. Defterli is tall. Early life Defterli was born on November 1, 1980, in Erzurum, Turkey. She was the youngest of six children, four girls and two boys.
