Dietrich Möller (3 November 1937 – 28 December 2024) was a German politician, member of the Landtag of Hesse ( CDU) and former mayor of Marburg. Hanno Drechsler
Hanno Drechsler (24 March 1931 – 4 January 2003) was the Lord Mayor of the City of Marburg, Germany between 1970 and 1992, and the instigator of its restoration after urban renewal; he was also an important Social Democratic politician and political scientist. Life Education Hanno Drechsler went to school in Saxony, where after High School he studied to become a teacher and was certified for doing so on all levels, becoming very early the Principal of the ''Oberschule'' in Falkenstein. Because of political conflicts with the SED regime (such as the toleration of students who were members of a church), he and his wife fled East Germany in 1955, and settled in Marburg, West Germany. The Landtag of Hesse () is the unicameral parliament of the State of Hesse in the Federal Republic of Germany. It convenes in the Stadtschloss in Wiesbaden. As a legislature it is responsible for passing laws at the state level and enacting the budget. Its most important function is to elect and control the state government. VfB Marburg is a Football in Germany, German football club based in Marburg, Hesse, currently playing in the Hessenliga. History VfB Marburg was established on 13 May 1905 as Marburger Fußball Club and in its first two years boasted over 100 members. In October 1908, the club changed its name to Verein für Bewegungsspiele 1905 Marburg as it began to include sports other than football.
