Diego Javier Ferrín Valencia (born 21 March 1988 in Quinindé, Esmeraldas Province, Esmeraldas) is an Ecuadorian athlete competing in the high jump. Quinindé, also known as Rosa Zárate, is a town in the Esmeraldas Province, Esmeraldas Provinces of Ecuador, province of Ecuador. Sports Quinindé is home to the second division Ecuadorean soccer team La Brasilia, which placed second in the 2007 Copa Ecuatoriana. The 2009 South American Championships in Athletics (Spanish: ''2009 Campeonatos Sudamericanos'') was the forty sixth edition of the tournament and was held between 19 and 21 June in Lima, Peru.
