Michel Després
Michel Després (born October 14, 1957 in Quebec City, Quebec) is an administrator, consultant and a former Quebec politician. He was the former MNA member of the former riding of Limoilou from 1985 to 1994 and 1998 to 2003 and the former member of the riding of Jean-Lesage from 2003 and 2007 when he was defeated. He represented the Quebec Liberal Party during all his political career. Després studied at the Université Laval and obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1982. He would become the director of the Fishing Industry Association of Quebec. Terrence Des Pres (1939 – November 16, 1987) was an American writer and Holocaust scholar. Life Terrence Des Pres was born in Effingham, Illinois in 1939. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State College in 1962. He went on to graduate study in philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis, completing his doctorate there in 1968. He was appointed a junior fellow in the Society of Fellows at Harvard University, where he formed a friendship with John Nathan. Des Pres served as the society's sommelier.Nathan, John (2008). Suzanne Desprès (16 December 1875 – 1 July 1951), born Joséphine-Charlotte Bonvalet, was a French actress on stage and screen. Along with Sarah Bernhardt, she was one of the French actresses who played Hamlet before World War I. Early life and education Desprès was born at Verdun, Meuse, the daughter of a mechanic. She worked as a shop girl in her youth. She trained at the Paris Conservatoire, where in 1897 she obtained the first prize for comedy, and the second for tragedy. Career Desprès married Lugné-Poe, the actor-manager, who founded a new school of modern drama as the Théâtre de l'Œuvre. Simon Després (born July 27, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing with Glasgow Clan of the UK's Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). He was drafted in the first round, 30th overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins and has also played for the Anaheim Ducks. Pierre Desprès (or Des Près, or Des Prés; ''Lat.'' de Pratis) (1288–1361) was a French Cardinal during the period of the Avignon Papacy. Biography Pierre Desprès was born in 1288, at Montpezat-de-Quercy. He was the son of Raymond II Desprès, seigneur of Montpezat, and Aspasie de Montaigut, the heiress of Bertrand, seigneur de Montaigut. He had a brother, Raymond, who was ennobled in 1325.
