Derin Erdoğan
Derin Erdoğan (born 28 June 2002) is a Turkish female basketball player. The tall national plays point guard. Currently, she plays for Northeastern Huskies in the U.S. She was part of the Turkey U-16, Turkey U-18 and Turkey U-20 teams before she was admitted to the Turkey team. Club career Erdoğan was a member of Istanbul University SC, and Arizona Wildcats. She played in 14 games in the 2020–21 and in 13 matches in the 2021–22 season. After two years at Arizona, she moved in 2022 to Northeastern Huskies in Boston to play in the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament. Galatasaray On 24 May 2024, it was announced that she signed a 1-year contract with the Galatasaray. Derin Tanrıyaşükür
Derin Tanrıyaşükür (born 21 October 2006) is a Turkish artistic gymnast. She won a bronze medal on the uneven bars at the 2020 Junior European Championships. Gymnastics career Junior In 2019, Tanrıyaşükür won gold medals on the uneven bars and floor exercise and the bronze medal in the all-around at the Züri-Oberland Cup in Switzerland. At the 2020 Turkish Championships, she won the junior all-around bronze medal. She competed with the Turkish team that finished fourth at the 2020 Junior European Championships in Mersin. Then, in the uneven bars final, she won a bronze medal behind Ana Bărbosu and Sara Šulekić. Derin Atakan (born 16 June 2006) is a Turkish female kitesurfer competing in the Formula Kite class. She qualified to participate at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. Career Atakan was a member of Urla Marine Club in İzmir, before she transferred to Fenerbahçe Sailing. She became Turkish champion in the U21 Girls category of the Formula Kite at the 2022-23 TYF League. She won the first leg of the 2023-24 TYF League in Urla, İzmir. She was admitted to the Turkey national team of Formula Kite, which was included for the first time into the Sailing at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Derin Young is an American cultural programmer, producer, songwriter, sound designer, and vocalist. She was a member of Rodeo Caldonia High Fidelity Performance Theater. Biography Derin Young was raised in New York City. Young has produced content for Black Art In America, Columbus Museum, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Bentonville, AR, De La Cruz Collection, Miami, FL and Institute Contemporary Art (ICA) San Diego, CA among numerous other organizations. Yeşilova Höyük
Yeşilova Höyük is a höyük (''tell'') in the Bornova district of İzmir, Turkey, and is the oldest known prehistoric human settlement in the area of İzmir. It was occupied continuously from roughly 6500 to 4000 BC, and was covered with silt afterwards. Discovered in 2003, the site has been explored since 2005 by a team under the direction of Associate Professor Zafer Derin of Ege University. By 2005, important new light had been shed on the Neolithic-Chalcolithic phases of İzmir's metropolitan area in particular and of Turkey's Aegean Region in general. A drilled sample section disclosed a first cultural layer associated with the late Roman–early Byzantine period, and still more importantly, allowed the outlines of two additional layers, which date from the Calcolithic and Neolithic Ages, to be made out.
