Tercera Federación, previously known as Tercera RFEF, is the fifth tier of the Spanish football league system. It is below the ''La Liga'', ''Segunda División'', and its fellow semi-professional divisions '' Primera Federación'' and ''Segunda Federación''. The 2024–25 Tercera Federación season is the fourth for the Tercera Federación, the national fifth level in the Spanish football league system. It consists of 17 groups with 18 teams each, and one group with 19 teams. Competition format *The group champions will be promoted to 2025–26 Segunda Federación. *The champion of each group qualified for the 2025–26 Copa del Rey. Balsicas Atlético was a football team based in Balsicas, Torre-Pacheco, in the Region of Murcia. Founded in 2002 and dissolved in 2024, the team last played in Tercera Federación – Group 13. The club's home ground is ''Campo Municipal Los Cipreses''. History A club named CD Balsicas previously existed in the city, which started playing in the 1980s before selling their place to newly-created Cartagonova FC in 1995, amidst several financial trouble. Isaac Jové Rubí (born 21 February 1980) is a Spanish football manager and former player who played as an attacking midfielder. He is the current general director of Deportivo Marítimo. He amassed Segunda División totals of 227 matches and 20 goals over seven seasons, mainly in representation of Lorca Deportiva, Salamanca and Murcia (two years apiece). Manuel Sánchez Palomeque (born 1 January 1967) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder, and a manager. Club career Born in Cartagena, Murcia, Palomeque only appeared with amateur clubs well into his 20s. In 1989, he joined UD Salamanca in Segunda División, making his debut as a professional on 17 December 1989, in a 1–0 away win against Real Madrid Castilla.
