Denys Lukashov
Denys Lukashov (born 30 April 1989) is a Ukrainian basketball player who previously played for BC Prometey, Prometey of the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League. He is a member of the Ukraine national basketball team, Ukrainian national team, where he participated at the EuroBasket 2015. On October 31, 2024, Lukashov signed for the Kosovan club KB Peja. BC Budivelnyk
BC Budivelnyk Kyiv (in Ukrainian: Будівельник Київ) is a Ukrainian professional basketball club based in Kyiv. The club plays in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague. In June 2018, it was forced to withdraw from the Superleague due to open debts. Two years later, the club returned its activities. The club holds a record eleven Ukrainian championships and three Ukrainian Cups, as well as a Soviet championship (1989). Budivelnyk is owned and operated by the banking and investing company PrivatBank. 2014–15 Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague
The 2014–15 Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague was the 24th edition of the Ukrainian top-tier basketball championship. The season started on October 11, 2014 and ended on May 4, 2015. Because of the Russo-Ukrainian war, just 7 foreign players played in the league this season. BC Donetsk and BC Azovmash didn't participate this season. In the regular season, BC Khimik, Khimik took the top seed unbeaten with a 30–0 record, and eventually took the title after winning 36 games in a row. EuroBasket 2015 was the 39th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. It was co-hosted by Croatia, France, Germany, and Latvia, making it the first EuroBasket held in more than one country. It started on 5 September and ended on 20 September 2015. The Ukraine men's national basketball team () represents Ukraine in international basketball competitions. They are controlled by the Basketball Federation of Ukraine. BC Prometey
BC Prometey (), also known as Prometey Slobozhanske, was a Ukrainian basketball club based in Slobozhanske and Kamianske. It played in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague, the highest tier of basketball in Ukraine, from 2019 to 2022. From 2022 to 2024, the team was based in Riga and played in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. History The team was founded as Sports Club Prometey in September 2018, by Volodymyr Dubynsky and Pavlo Chukhno. The plans were to develop a basketball and volleyball team. In 2018, Prometey joined the Ukrainian Higher League, the national second tier. On October 8, 2018, they played their first game against Zolotyi Vik, winning 86–80.
