Denis Rusu (footballer, Born 1990)
Denis Rusu (born 2 August 1990) is a Moldovan professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Liga I club Unirea Slobozia. Club career After progressing through the various youth teams of CSCT Buiucani, in 2008, Rusu moved to first league team Rapid Chișinău. He made his debut for Rapid in the 2009–10 season. Politehnica Iași After three years and winning the 2013–14 Moldovan Cup with Zimbru Chișinău, Rusu moved to Romanian first division club Politehnica Iași, and signed a short six-month contract with the team. He made his debut for his new side, on 12 February 2018, in a 1-0 win over local rivals FC Botoșani as a replacement for the injured Alexei Koșelev. After some good performances and helping Politehnica to the Championship play-offs, Rusu signed a new two-year deal to keep him in place until the summer of 2020. The 2009–10 Moldovan National Division () was the 19th season of top-tier football in Moldova. The season began on 5 July 2008, with the final round of matches played on 16 May 2009. The 2021 Supercupa României was the 23rd edition of the Supercupa României, an annual Association football, football super cup contested by the winners of the previous season's Liga I and Cupa României competitions. The Supercupa României () is a Romanian football (soccer), football championship contested by the winners of the Liga I and the Cupa României. It is usually played at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. The competition started off in 1994 Supercupa României, 1994, with the first edition being won by FCSB, Steaua București. The 2017–18 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Betano for sponsorship reasons) was the 100th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season began on 14 July 2017 and ended on 2 June 2018, being the third to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced. Defending champions Viitorul Constanța came fourth. CFR Cluj became the new champions in the last fixture of the play-off, clinching their fourth league title after finishing one point above FCSB. Juventus București and Sepsi OSK entered as the promoted teams from the 2016–17 Liga II, but only the latter managed to avoid relegation. Alexei Koșelev (born 19 November 1993) is a Moldovan professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Super League Greece club Atromitos and the Moldova national team. Club career Sheriff Tiraspol In the summer of 2015 Koșelev signed for FC Sheriff Tiraspol. In his first season he made 25 appearances in the Moldovan National Division conceding 10 goals and having 15 clean sheets.
