Deni Kožul
Deni Kozul (born 18 March 1997) is a Slovenian table tennis player. He represented his country at the Summer Olympics in 2021 (team) and 2024 (singles and team), the European Games in 2019 (team) and 2023 (singles, team and mixed doubles), and the Mediterranean Games in 2018 (singles and team) and 2022 (singles and team). Kozul competed at the World Championships in 2017 ( doubles), 2018 (team), 2019 (singles), 2021 (singles and doubles), 2022 (team), 2023 (singles) and 2024 (team). He also competed at the European Championships in 2017 (team), 2019 (team), 2021 (team), 2022 (singles and mixed doubles) and 2024 (singles). 2019 European Games
The 2nd European Games 2019 (, ''Jeŭrapiejskija huĺni 2019''; , ''Yevropeyskiye igry 2019''), also known as the 2019 European Games or Minsk 2019 (; ), were held in Minsk, Belarus, from 21 June to 30 June 2019. The games featured 200 events in 15 sports (23 disciplines). Around 4,000 athletes from 50 countries participated. Ten of the sports offered qualification opportunities for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The opening ceremony at the Dinamo Stadium (Minsk), Dinamo Stadium was held on 21 June, and the closing ceremony at the same venue was held on 30 June. The logo of the games was "Fern flower, paparać-kvietka"—a plant that plays an important role in the culture of the Slavs. The slogan of the event is "Bright Year, Bright You", which also makes reference to the national domain of the Republic of Belarus and the official international shortening—BY. 2024 World Team Table Tennis Championships – Men's Team
The men's team tournament of the 2024 World Team Table Tennis Championships was held from 16 to 25 February 2024. China won the title for the 23rd time with a win over France. Format The 40 teams were drawn into eight groups of five teams. After a round robin in each group, the top team advanced to the round of 16, while the second and third-placed teams played in the round of 24, in the knockout stage. A team match consisted of five singles matches, where each singles match was decided in best-of-5 games. Qualification Number of teams eligible to compete for the trophy in each team event is 40.
