Deja Kelly
Deja Kelly (born September 8, 2001) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. She played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks women's basketball, Oregon Ducks and the North Carolina Tar Heels women's basketball, North Carolina Tar Heels, where she was a three-time first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) selection. Kelly graduated from Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, where she was named a McDonald's All-American Game, McDonald's All-American. Early life and high school career Kelly developed an interest in basketball at age five, playing on courts in San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas. ''The Daily Tar Heel'' (''DTH'') is the independent student newspaper of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was founded on February 23, 1893, and became a daily newspaper in 1929. The Duke Blue Devils women's basketball team is the college basketball program representing Duke University in the Atlantic Coast Conference of NCAA Division I. Team history In 1974, Duke hired Emma Jean Howard to teach physical education and to serve as the head coach of the women's basketball and volleyball teams. Initially, women's basketball was played as a club sport. In the first season, 1974–75, the team played locally, finishing second in the state with a 6–7 record. The Jordan Brand Classic is a high school all star basketball game played annually in April. The game's rosters feature the best and most highly recruited high school boys and girls in the senior class. In 2015, a girl's game was introduced.
