Death Before Dishonor IX (DBD IX) was the 9th ROH Death Before Dishonor professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on September 17, 2011, at the Grand Ballroom of the Manhattan Center in the New York City borough of Manhattan, and it was also the first ROH event to use the new logo that was used under Sinclair Broadcast Group's management of the company until Supercard of Honor (2022). Ring Of Honor
Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011; the promotion was subsequently sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and then sold to Tony Khan. Throughout the 2010s, ROH was considered the third largest wrestling promotion in the United States, behind WWE and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, initially operating on an internet distribution model. Terrance Guido Gerin (born October 7, 1975) is an American professional wrestling, professional wrestler better known by the ring name Rhyno (or Rhino).
