Dear Krishna
''Krishnam'' is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language family drama thriller film written, directed and filmed by Dinesh Baboo from a story by P. N. Balaram, who also produced the film. The film features Akshay Krishnan and Aishwarya Ullas with Mamitha Baiju, Sai Kumar (Malayalam actor), Sai Kumar, and Shanthi Krishna in important roles. The film was released in India on 18 May 2018. The film was subsequently partially reshot in Telugu as ''Dear Krishna'' with Avinash Yelandur, Avinash replacing Sai Kumar (Malayalam actor), Sai Kumar, which was released on 25 January 2025. Cast Production The film was planned as a multilingual film in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil and although the Tamil version were dropped in favour of a dubbed version. Dinesh Baboo (also known as Dinesh Babu) is an Indian film director, cinematographer, actor and screenwriter who works predominantly in Kannada cinema. In a career spanning five decades he has directed more than 40 films, filmed more than 20 films and been the scriptwriter for 6 films. He is the recipient of several accolades including two Karnataka State Film Awards, two Filmfare Awards South and two Cinema Express Awards. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer.
