Dean Burmester
Dean Burmester (born 2 June 1989) is a South African professional golfer who plays in the LIV Golf League, as well as having status on the European Tour and Sunshine Tour. He formerly played on the PGA Tour. Early life Burmester was born in Mutare, Zimbabwe but represents South Africa in golf. His father, Mark Burmester, played international cricket for Zimbabwe while his mother Michelle holds (as of 2022) the women's course record at Royal Harare Golf Club, his home course. Career Burmester has won eight times on the Sunshine Tour, including the 2015 Golden Pilsener Zimbabwe Open. He also won the 2017 Tshwane Open which was a co-sanctioned Sunshine Tour and European Tour event. In May 2021, Burmester claimed his second European Tour victory at the Tenerife Open. He shot a final round 62 to beat Nicolai von Dellingshausen by five shots. Nicolai Von Dellingshausen
} Nicolai von Dellingshausen (born 22 January 1993) is a German professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour. Von Dellingshausen turned professional in late 2016 and played on the 2017 Pro Golf Tour. In February he lost in a four-way playoff in the Tony Jacklin Open, before winning the Tazegzout Open in March. He had further wins in the Adamstal Open and the Sierra Polish Open, as well as two more runner-up finishes. His third win earned him immediate promotion to the Challenge Tour. In his third Challenge Tour event, he was runner-up in the 2017 Bridgestone Challenge, where Oscar Lengdén took victory with a birdie-birdie-eagle finish. Justin Harding
Justin Adam Harding (born 9 February 1986) is a South African professional golfer. Amateur career Harding attended Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch, South Africa, and played college golf at Lamar University in Texas and represented his country as an amateur golfer. Professional career Having graduated, he earned a place on the Sunshine Tour at the first attempt, finishing third at the 2009 qualifying school while still an amateur. He won a tournament in each of his first three seasons on the tour, 2010, 2011 and 2012. He won again in 2015 and 2016 and then twice in two weeks in 2018. Merrick Bremner (born 26 March 1986) is a South African professional golfer. He plays on the Sunshine Tour, where he has won eight times. Professional career In 2012, Bremner led by two strokes after the first round of the SA Open Championship. 2013 Sunshine Tour
The 2013 Sunshine Tour was the 14th season of professional golf tournaments since the southern Africa based Sunshine Tour was relaunched in 2000, and the 7th since the tour switched a calendar-based season in 2007. The Sunshine Tour represents the highest level of competition for male professional golfers in the region. The tour is based predominantly in South Africa with other events being held in neighbouring countries, including Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Zambia and Namibia. As usual, the tour consisted of two distinct parts, commonly referred to as the "Summer Swing" and the "Winter Swing". Tournaments held during the Summer Swing generally have much higher prize funds, attract stronger fields, and until 2012 were the only tournaments on the tour to carry world ranking points, with some events being co-sanctioned with the European Tour. 2021 European Tour
The 2021 European Tour was the 50th season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972 and the 13th and final edition of the Race to Dubai. The Race to Dubai was won by Collin Morikawa, becoming the first American player to do so. Matti Schmid was named Rookie of the Year. Mikko Korhonen
Mikko Korhonen (born 23 July 1980) is a Finnish professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. He won the 2018 Shot Clock Masters and the 2019 Volvo China Open. Professional career Korhonen turned professional at the late age of 24, and spent the initial part of his career on the third-tier Nordic League tour. In 2006 he stepped up to the Challenge Tour, where he enjoyed five productive seasons, never winning but never finishing worse than 73rd in the final standings. At the end of 2010, Korhonen progressed to the European Tour for the first time via qualifying school, but failed to retain his card for 2011. Korhonen returned to the Challenge Tour in 2012. Jorge Campillo (golfer)
Jorge Campillo (born 1 June 1986) is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He has won on the tour, the 2019 Trophée Hassan II and the 2020 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. Amateur career After attending the Spanish national training centre as a junior, Campillo elected to play college golf at Indiana University in the United States. Campillo would go on to become one of the most successful players in the university's history, winning nine intercollegiate titles and being named to the Golfweek First Team All-American squad. The 2022–23 PGA Tour is the 108th season of the PGA Tour, and the 56th since separating from the PGA of America. The season began on September 15, 2022.
