David Taylor (wrestler, Born 1990)
David Morris Taylor III (born December 5, 1990) is an American former freestyle wrestler, freestyle and Collegiate wrestling, folkstyle wrestler who competed in the 74, 86 and 92-kilogram categories. He is the current head coach of the Oklahoma State Cowboys wrestling, Oklahoma State Cowboys. The men's freestyle 86 kilograms is a competition featured at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships, and was held in Belgrade, Serbia on 16 and 17 September 2023. The FISU World University Games, formerly the Universiade, is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The XXIX Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2018, also known as Ivan Yarygin (Yariguin) 2018 was a wrestling event held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia between 26 and 28 January 2018. It was held as the second of the ranking series of United World Wrestling,it is only men's freestyle ranking. The 2019 Pan American Wrestling Championships was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 19 to 21 April 2019. The top three countries in the 18 weight categories scheduled to be held at the 2019 Pan American Games (also in Lima) will qualify for the Pan American Games. If Peru has not qualified at the end of the 2019 Pan American Championships, the third spot available at the tournament will be awarded to Peru. The Pan American Wrestling Championships is the continental wrestling championships for nations from North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Three wrestling styles, recognized internationally by UWW, have been contested annually since the inception, namely: Greco-Roman, freestyle and sambo wrestling. Wrestling World Cup is an international wrestling competition among teams representing member nations of the United World Wrestling (UWW) the sport's global governing body. The cups have been conducted by FILA (the UWW predecessor) every year since the 1973 tournament. The World Cup began as a dual-meet competition for the top teams on each continent, but now features the top teams in the rankings of the previous year's world championships. Two individual competitions under the same name were held in 1956 and 1958 before establishing the current World Cup competition in 1973. Besides that, the UWW had another competition called the Individual World Cup as a replacement event for the 2020 World Cup Championships.
